This term, Year 11 students took on a fundraising challenge as a campaign before leaving this school setting after years of hard work.

Having learned about a variety of issues, participants were able to choose their own charity of choice. Feeling strongly about issues that affect women, the girls chose to raise money for Solace Women’s Aid, an organisation Tayyibah Girls’ school has partnered with before.

A total of £367.94 was raised in only one secondary and one primary lunchtime sitting. A big maa shaa Allaah and well done to the participants for their commitment and hard work.

The girls feel pleased to have organised this successful event and to be able to make a positive and worthwhile impact on the lives of vulnerable women and children.
