Multicultural Day – Unity in Diversity

We celebrated Multicultural Day, a wonderful opportunity for our school community to come together and recognise the rich variety of cultures within the Muslim world and beyond.

We began with a special assembly featuring different styles of Quran recitation and adhan from across the world, showing how beautifully diverse these traditions sound while uniting us as one Ummah.

Throughout the day, pupils learned from parents who kindly came in to speak about their cultures and share their heritage. Lessons across the school were planned around culture, helping students explore traditions, values, and contributions from different communities in meaningful ways.

Students brought food from home to share with their peers, and some parents generously provided dishes for the whole school to taste, a lovely way for everyone to experience different cuisines. There were also chances for pupils to try on traditional clothing, including saris, and take part in activities that celebrated our theme of Unity in Diversity.
